Julian Aird Atherley, of Mile and a Quarter, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 71.

Retired teacher of Coleridge and Parry School and Devoted Member of many organizations.

Loving Husband of Esther Atherley.

Son of the late Lorna and Kenneth Atherley.

Brother of Hubert and Adrian Clemment, the late Jeffery and Newland Atherley and Hal Skeete.

Uncle of Joyann and Justin Atherley, Kimarie Clemment, Andre Sealy, Querida Alleyne, Kayla Burke and Jalisa Moore.

Great Uncle of Jayden and Aliyah Greaves.

Cousin of many.

Son-in-law of the late Eileen Henry.

Brother-in-law of Lorraine and Alfred Alleyne, Rohan Henry, Lorraine Clemment and Clytie Atherley.

Godfather of many.

Relative of the Atherley, Foddringham of the USA and many other families.

Friend of Erwin Scantlebury, Hazel Headley of the USA, the Beckles family of Canada, the Rock and Marshall families, the late Hadley Hinds and many others.

The funeral of the late Julian Aird Atherley leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Saturday July 6th, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. for St. Peter’s Parish Church, Speightstown, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.

The funeral will then proceed to Casuarina Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, St. Peter

The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Julian Aird Atherley from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
